These are the words of a young person touched by RV Brown's Breaking The Chains Program. The sixteenth of seventeen brothers and sisters, this energetic athlete, former teacher and coach commands the attention of his audience. His presentations are unique and dynamic. Students are captivated because they can relate to the message. Young people are used in various demonstrations that make the message come alive.

Students are compelled to evaluate their actions and attitudes; to think about where they stand academically, relationally (with peers, teachers, and parents), and to begin focusing on their future.

RV's Heart for young people is evident as he is seen after assemblies, surrounded by students, listening as they share what's on their hearts, answering any and all questions-giving additional words of wisdom and encouragement. RV Brown impacts young people from every ethnic and economic background.

Many of America's youth are shackled with problems. Their lives are hopelessly enslaved by high drop-out rates, illiteracy, crack, alcohol, low self-esteem, disrespect for self and others, crime, teen pregnancy and many, many other obstacles that are like links on a chain, binding our youth.

Outreach to America's Youth, Inc. is an organization whose primary goal is to liberate America's youth. O.T.A.Y. was designed for the purpose of reaching our young people through motivational speeches, workshops and visual presentations about drugs, alcohol and various other topics. RV Brown founded Outreach to America's Youth, Inc. in 1988.
